The 2020 playoffs concluded Thursday, Aug. 21, 2020, with titles won in Grades 1-8. Over 400 kids participated in Rogers Flag Football this season, keeping the spirit and excitement of the game alive during challenging times for everyone.
Thank you to all players, parents, referees, coaches and volunteers who made this another great Flag Football season in Rogers.
Winners of each grade are noted below.
In order to provide a wider range of competition and a variety of opponents, RYFA has voted to join Twin Cities North Youth Football League (TCNYFL) for the 2020 season.
Instead of Elk River as our only playing partner, RYFA teams will be playing other surrounding communities/organizations that make up the TCNYFL.
Rogers Youth Football Association is happy to announce that Rogers Flag Football is merging with our association in 2020.
With unprecedented growth and success of Rogers Flag Football, the need has arisen to manage the flag program through a more formal, structured body. RYFA and Rogers Flag Football has come to an agreement to merge the two organizations into one.
Rogers Youth Football Association is a non-profit organization focusing on youth development through the teaching of football fundamentals for both tackle and flag football.
Our 2nd-3rd grade tackle league is our teaching, non-competitive league. Our 4th-6th grade tackle league is our competitive house league partnering. Grades 2-6 will play in the Twin Cities North Youth Football League starting in 2020 Games are played in both Rogers and other TCNYFL surrounding communities.
Our 7th-8th grade tackle league is highly competitive in the North Suburban League with several north metro communities. All of our coaches are parent volunteers, and without their support, we could not be as successful as Rogers Youth Football has been over the last several years.
Starting in 2020, RYFA is happy to add Rogers Flag Football to the fold. The flag football league is open to boys and girls K-8th grade. The league is fun, low-pressure experience meant to give boys and girls the opportunity learn the game of football in a non-contact environment.
Thank you for your support of Rogers Youth Football!
