Tackle Football

Rogers Youth Football Association is a non-profit organization focusing on youth development through the teaching of football fundamentals for both tackle and flag football.

Our 2nd-3rd grade tackle league is our teaching, less competitive travel league. Our 4th-6th grade tackle league is our competitive travel league. Grades 2-6 play in the Twin Cities North Youth Football League. Games are played in both Rogers and other TCNYFL surrounding communities. Our 7th-8th grade tackle league is highly competitive in the North Suburban League with several north metro communities.

All of our coaches are parent volunteers, and without their support, we could not be as successful as Rogers Youth Football has been over the last several years.

Our teams are part of travelling competitive league, and we hope that families understand there is a commitment to your team/RYFA during the football season.

The season will begin August 5th, 2025, and will run into October (week after MEA).

Early Bird Registration Cost: $150 (2nd/3rd), $210 (4th-6th), $250 (7th/8th)

(Registration cost will go up July 1st, 2025)

Registration Opens: June 1st, 2025

Registration Close: July 16th, 2025

Tackle Evaluations (Grades 4th-8th): July 28th, 2025

Start of Tackle Football Practice: August 5th, 2025

Youth M - 50 - 70

Youth L - 70 -105

Adult S - 80-110 (these run a little longer than Youth L. Recommended for older players that might be tall/slender)

Adult M - 115-135

Adult L - 140-190

Adult XL - 200 lb - 260 lb

As with every youth sport, WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! All coaching positions are filled by volunteers and we will need families to step up and help. As a thank you to those who sign up to volunteer, we will be offering the following...

• Coaches will have their own athlete on their team and can choose TWO other coaches to be on their team!
• A playbook and coaching materials will be provided. No experience necessary!
• A pre-season coaches meeting will be held to answer any questions
